In January 2023, the American Academy of Pediatrics released new clinical guidelines for the evaluation and treatment of obesity in children and adolescents. In this webinar, Dr. Anna Tanner breaks down the new guidelines and discusses them through the lens of a medical provider who treats eating disorders. In addition, she offer advices to parents on how to best advocate for their children and navigate these guidelines. She also reviews some steps parents can take to promote the health and well-being of their children.
